so some ex-jws and i were at dinner last night talking about how some of the ones baptized this year were so young.

can you imagine if a kid got dfd at that age.... would the congregation shun them?
Usually it takes until around age 15 or so. Puberty and discovering sex drive is number 1, and unhappily drugs or booze. They will indeed be shunned, given no support for maturing.
In spite of being bible based(sarcasm)the local boe may encourage kicking them into street or pawning them off on non jw relatives.
I have known a lot. A few smart alec snots make it all the way to becoming superfine bigwigs pushing their own way without getting caught
i wrote a letter some time ago and to my surprise and despite the elders manual saying that a letter is sufficient for establishing 'wrongdoing' they would not announce me as no longer a jw until i met with 2 elders to verbally acknowledge that the letter was written by me.. .
well yesterday i met with them and the meeting lasted 2 minutes.

Technically the letter could have been sent by someone as a revenge or trick with your name. They did get the 2 witnesses now

this last tuesday was one of the most stressful and sad days of our life when we had our lab morgan put to sleep.
she was so sick and out of it we just had to do it.
when i called the spca on monday to make a appointment to have her put to sleep i felt like i betrayed her.
We all been there and will again. Biggest fear now is a dog may outlive me if I get another

while we were away (i and my best friend for the weekend), i received several texts from my 2 friends, from my ex-cong ,who are pimi(but starting to have doubts) who have been asking me questions about the jdubs.the texts seemed quite urgent n serious, so got the lowdown .at the weekend meeting , 3 families walked out!.
Heard if a cong where the elder on the stage reprimanded an elder in audience, pretty harsh. 2 families walked out

what stands out is there statement claiming that survival through armageddon depends on loyalty to those 'taking the lead'.

It is not a personal choice you are told to shun someone for some unknown " sin" and if you do know some details like with a family member you also recognize the lack of being even handed that goes along with it

I don't but have tried them. Along with SKS and AK The cartridges are not useful for my hunting, but are cheaper. The AR has adjustable stock length, a grip that feels more natural so can be used by people that are not " average" build. People mix up velocity, weight, impact energy not to mention bullet styles. And have no idea about how changing magazines reduces the actual rate of fire from the impossible numbers cited on tv that would require belt fed full machine guns
There is an agenda to take ALL guns in the long picture despite protestations otherwise. Since they cannot do it all at once (Soviet union, Hitler for example) they are instead getting the camels nose under the tent.
